Research Interests:

Wenzhong Liu is a professor of the Department of Measurement Science and Instrument, School of Automation.He is a member of Key Laboratory of Image Processing and Intelligence Control of Ministry of Education.

Professor Liu is a full professor with the Department of Control Science and Engineering.
Dr. Liu earned his B.S., M.S. degrees and Ph. D. from HUST’s Department of Control Science and Engineering in 1997, 2000 and 2004 respectively. At HUST he teaches Sensor and Transducer, and Digital Signal Processing. He specializes in weak signal detecting, focusing on issues related to characterization of magnetic nanoparticles (MNP), temperature estimation using MNP, and MNP imaging. His current research interests include non-invasive temperature estimation using MNP, and characterization of MNP.
Dr. Prof. Liu has published articles in numerous scholarly outlets, including The Scientific reports, Nanotechnology, Journal of Applied Physics, IEEE Transaction on Nanotechnology, Nano Scale Research, and Measurement Science and Technology. He also authors for 5 Chinese patents, 2 US patent and 1Japanese patent
