Research Interests:

Zhihua CHEN is an associate professor of the Department of Intelligence Science and Technology, School of Automation. 
Professor Liu's research is focused primarily on modeling and control in process control, DNA computing and intelligent algorithms. I have participated in the development of a few automatic control engineering project, including the automatic control of generator in the XiaHuiKeng hydroelectric power station, the bag making machine control system and the automatic register control system. I also did some network technology and information security research in the Information Security Laboratory of Modern Education Technology & Training Center in Beijing. So I am adroit in networking technology and information security. 
DNA computation falls into a cross field of biochemistry, mathematics and computer. It covers an extensive range. Since professor Adleman initiated such a new calculative field, the method of DNA computation have been used to solve some NP problems. DNA computing can solve some cipher problem because of the ability of the highly parallel computation and the dense deposited information. Such thinking will bring important effects in the information security field.
 She has published in the areas of progress control, optimal control, DNA computing applied in information security etc.
