Prof. Hai-Tao Zhang received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Science
and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2000 and 2005, respectively. During January–December
2007, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, U.K. Since
2005, he has been with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, where he
was an Associate Professor from 2005 to 2010 and has been a Professor since late 2010. From 2013
he serves as an associate editor of Nature Scientific Reports, Asian Journal of Control, a Conference Editorial Board member of IEEE Control Systems
Society and the Chair of IEEE CSS Wuhan Chapter. His research interests include MASs control, model predictive control, and nano-manufacturing control.He has published 52 SCI-indexed journal papers, including 20+ Automatica and IEEE Trans papers. He has gained 7 national patents of China.
